Time for a Self Audit
Employees want to work for organizations that get it right and do it right. How do you know if you've got it right? Self Audit. The EEOC provides guidelines and a checklist for employers. They're also providing the answers to the test so that if you're ever tested, i.e., audited, you'll be doing it right. We'll discuss this checklist for employers during the compliance portion of our seminar: Building Your Brand Through the Employee Experience, on September 29 in Falmouth. We'll also discuss the DOL regulations taking effect December 1, 2016, and the EEOC's guidance on Wellness Programs. If this isn't enough, we'll talk about my recommended format for a job description, the importance of your employee handbook, recruitment, and hiring, as well as benefits, education, and training. And that's all before lunch!
After lunch, the real fun begins and we'll jump into how you can use storytelling to build your culture and your internal brand.
